This is to draw the attention of UEED authorities that it was after lot of efforts that the authorities had sanctioned Rs 48 lakh for repairing of nallah near Bonn Bread Factory Paloura. Out of this amount Rs 10 lakh were used on priority basis, but remaining amount was not used at that time for reasons known to them. One wonders when shall this remaining amount be utilised to complete the pending work. In case the remaining work is not carried out immediately, the work done so far may also go waste. Besides, there is apprehension that the standing high tension electric poles may also fall in case the nallah is not constructed at the earliest.
Therefore it is urged to the authorities to complete the work at the earliest.

Repair Jammu-Akhnoor road
This is to draw the attention of the National Highway authorities that the Jammu Akhnoor road is in a dilapidated condition right from Jammu to Akhnoor. The road has developed numerous ditches which may prove very dangerous for commuters and drivers using this road. The night drive is more dangerous than during the day. As the road is quite busy due to its strategic importance, it should be properly black-topped and repaired.
One witnesses frequent traffic jams even on this road, reason being, its bad condition. It is therefore requested to the concerned authorities to blacktop this road on priority basis.

Frame seniority list of electric graduates
This is to draw the attention of the president Jammu Kashmir Electrical Graduate Engineers Association and the concerned authorities that no seniority list has been framed after 2017, despite submision of objections etc as demanded by Admin Deptt of PDD. Clear cut posts of AEs, AEEs, XENs and SEs are lying vacant in different Wings/Divisions of JKPDD etc.
Therefore, the JEs (Electric) vacancies list be framed as early as possible so that recruitment can be made by the Govt itself with norms and rules in force and the official duties of JEs can be utilized in the Division for smooth working of employees.

Repair MHAC road
This is to draw the attention of the concerned authorities that the road link connecting MHAC Nagbani on one side and the Jammu-Akhnoor road on the other side needs immediate repairs as it is bady damaged throughout its length.
There are numerous pot-holes which are creating great inconvenience in driving on its surface. This road link not only connects two important educational institutions but also a vast chink of population.
The residents face numerous problems on account of it particularly during rains and hot days.
As such it is requested that the road be blacktopped anew as early as possible.
Hope the matter is settled to the satisfaction of the residents of this area.

Electricity shortage
in Bhour Camp
This is to draw the attention of PDD authorities that the residents of Bhour Camp are facing acute shortage of electricity these days. The shortage has hit almost every section of the society whether students or traders. There is no fixed schedule for power cuts. Electricity comes and goes as per the whims of the PDD department.
It is requested that in case power schedule is to be observed, there should be a fixed schedule.
Besides, one more electric transformer of high capacity be installed in the area to meet the shortage.
Hope the matter is resolved at the earliest.
