All India Inter-University Fencing (Men) Championship

JAMMU, Dec 31: Udayveer Singh of JNDU Amritsar will lock horns with L. Meteei Singh of Lovely Professional University in Epee Individual final, while in Sabre Individual title clash, Sehaj Preet Singh of GNDU Amritsar will take on Aditya Angal of Shivaji University Kohlapur in the All India Inter-University Fencing (Men) Championship at Gymnasium Hall, University of Jammu, here.
The Epee (Individual), Sabre (Individual) and Foil (Team Event) Competitions of the were held today.
The Championship is being organized by the Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu.
Dr Uday Dongre and aman Sharma have been appointed as Observers by the Association of Indian Universities and Khelo India (SAI) for this Championship. Dr Uday Dongre was today’s chief guest who interacted with the technical officials and players of the Semi-finalist teams of Foil (Team Event) along with Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu.
The Foil (Team Event) competitions were also held in which semifinals line up has been drawn.
The competitions were held under the technical supervision of Chotu Lal Sharma (Competition Director), Rashid Ahmad Choudhary (Jt Competition Director), Krishan Kumar (Jt Competition Director) and Deepak Singh Patial (Chairman Referee Commission).
