JAMMU, Jan 5: Ace Sports Administrator and J&K’s representative to BCCI General Body Ranjeet Kalra has been nominated as Member of the Raj-asthan State Sports Council’s Apex Committee wide order number F-5 / State Sports/ 2019-20/3341 Dated 24.12.2019.
Kalraj Mishra, Governor is the Patron of Rajasthan State Sports Council.
Kalra, a teaching faculty at Jammu University, who was appointed as Advisor for Sports and Youth Affairs to the UT of Lakshadweep in 2017 has also remained as Vice Chairman of Sports Council of Jammu.
A former J&K cricketer Kalra is concurrently also the Co-Chairman of the Sports Council of Central University of Jammu and serves on the Governing Council of Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Sports Complex, Katra and the Management Committee of Sports Authority of India Training centre, Jammu.
It is pertinent to mention here that the ongoing Rajasthan State Games in which around 8000 athletes are taking part are being held under the aegis of the Apex Council.
