JAMMU, Jan 12: Army organised inter-school debate competition on “Impact of social media on student” today at Government Higher Secondary School, Jhullas in Poonch district.
The event was witnessed by a large number of students, teachers and prominent citizens.
Eight students participated in the competition while 155 students attended the event. The participants exhibited excellent understanding and knowledge of the topic and brought out pertinent issues.
The oratory skill of the students was appreciated by the audience. Such event motivated the students to acquire knowledge, do research and be able to participate in such events. The winners and runners up were suitably awarded.
The participants and school teachers expressed desire that more such events should be organised in future as well.
