MENDHAR, Jan 16: Army’s Romeo Force at Orphanage ‘Nari Niketan’ helped in organising the marriage ceremony of a poor girl Shabina Kouser here today.
Shabina of Mendhar was left alone by her parents when she was just five years of age after her father divorced her mother and Shabina went to her relative who was also poor but properly looked after Shabina till she reached at an orphanage where she completed her matriculation.
After becoming a adult, her sources hindered her in accomplishing marriage and it was this time when the Indian Army knew about this and extended all help to her.
With the co-operation of Rashtriya Rifle and Romeo Force, her marriage was arranged at Nari Niketan and she became a bride.
The noble gesture of army was widely hailed.
