JAMMU, Jan 18: 21-member J&K Athletics team today left for Telangana to participate in 54th National Cross Country Championships to be held in Warangal on January 19, 2020.
The team was flagged off after screening of the athletes at MA Stadium Jammu by the Screening Committee headed by Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, J&K Sports Council.
Reyaz Ahmad of J&K Police is accompanying the team as Manager/Coach.
The team comprises Akshay Sharma, Parveen Kumar, Vishal Chib, Nitin Saini, Vrinder Singh, Bandu Devi, Balbeer Bandral, Mohd Muneer, Sidharth Kaith, Rishi Singh, Manta Choudhary, Anu , Tanvi Kohli, Iran, Kulbir Singh, Jagdish Singh, Hans Raj (JKP), Tariq (JKP), Balwinder Singh and Rama Jyoti
Suneel Mahajan, President J&K Athletics Association and Sharat Chander Singh, General Secretary J&K Athletics Association wished good luck to the team and hoped for good performance.
