JAMMU, Mar 25: Gujjar Bakerwal Students Federation (GBSF) has appealed SSRB to extend the date of submission of OMR forms. The Federation said while SSRB extended the date of sales of OMR forms from March 15 to March 31, 2013, but it did not extend the date of submission of forms.
Addressing the media persons at University Campus, State president, GBSF, Choudhary Naseeb Ali, alleged that majority of the people belonging to the Gujjar Bakerwal Community could not get application forms of various posts on time which were advertised by the SSRB vide Notification No. 01, 02, 03, 04 & 05 of 2013 because of many reasons like strikes and Hartals in Kashmir and lack of availability of forms in various bank branches, therefore the SSRB should extend the date of submission of these forms.
State senior vice-president, Shahid Choudhary claimed that the cost of OMR forms is not genuine. He said It is too high and appealed the State Government to intervene in the matter to reduce the rate of OMR application forms in future so that poor people can also afford.
