JAMMU, Feb 11: Gandhi Nagar police arrested an absconding gambler, who was evading his arrest for the past 31 years.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Gandhi Nagar Police Station led by SHO Inspector Gurnam Singh conducted raid in Digiana area and arrested an absconding gamblers, who was at large since 1981.
The accused involved in 13 Gambling Act has been identified as Jagjeet Singh, son of Baldev Singh of Digiana, District Jammu.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
