UDHAMPUR, Feb 11: Udhampur Police today arrested two drug peddlers from Dhar road, near CRPF camp and seized 35 grams of cannabis from their possession.
The accused, namely Gulzar Ahmed of Ukhral, Banihal and Mohd Arif of Karal, Ramban were apprehended by a Police party of PP Roundmail, led by SHO Udhampur, Insp Vijay Singh Choudhary and assisted by SI Vijay Sharma, IC PP Roundmail. Both the suspects were taken into custody and during their personal search, 35 grams of cannabis was recovered from them.
In this connection, a case FIR Number 69/2020, under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Udhampur and further investigation of the case was taken up.
