JAMMU, Feb 12: Bavposh Leela CD composed and sung by Shanti Lal Sidh a well known singer was released at Radio Sharda by Ramesh Hangloo its Founder Director and president Pir Panchal and members of Devsthan Prabandhak Committee Bijbehara.
The other dignitaries present on the occasion were renowned poet and writer, Badri Nath Abilash, Vijay Kaul general secretary, Pir Panchal and Shanti Lal Sidh. The CD contains six bhajans of different poets including one provided by Devsthan Prabhandak Committee (DPC) Bijbehara the writer of which is unknown.
The other bhajans are written by B N Abilash , Anand Swami Pran Nath Bhat Gareeb (Bhai Ji), Bushan Lal Bhat Arpan and S N Kher.
Speaking on the occasion Ramesh Hangloo highly acclaimed S L Sidh and termed him Bhajan Samrat. He said Sidh deserves all kudos for preserving and promoting the traditional music for the posterity. He also complimented the poets and Devsthan Prabandhak Committee Bijbehara for their contribution.
