JAMMU, Feb 20: Irfan of Jammu and Kashmir Police won gold medal in the 10th National Sambo Championship held at Balewadi Stadium, Pune in Maharashtra.
Other three players from JKP, who were part of the J&K team, secured bronze medals. They are Faisal Maqbool, Owais Ahmed and Ishfaq Ahmed.
In total, J&K won four medals and all the medal winners belong to J&K Police, informed Sambo coach, Rameshwar Singh, who trained these medal winners.
