JAMMU, Feb 20: Waaris Cricket Club defeated Nagrota Cricket Club by a big margin of 88 runs in the ongoing KC Sports Club Cricket Cup-2020, being played at KCSC ground, here.
Batting first, Waaris Cricket Club scored a good total of 178 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Gourav top scored with 37 runs while Akash contributed 27 runs to the total. From Nagrota Cricket Club, Danish took 2 wickets.
In reply, Nagrota Cricket Club bundled out for 90 runs, thus lost the match by a big margin of 88 runs. Arnav (19) and Mehboob (17) were the main scorers. From Waaris Cricket Club, veteran left-arm spinner, Raman Dutta was the wrecker-in-chief, who took 5 important wickets. For this performance, he was adjudged as the man of the match.
