SRINAGAR, Feb 28: Government today assigned the additional charge of the post of Principal, Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar to Dr Samia Rashid, Professor (Head, Department of Medicine) of the College.
“Consequent upon the retirement on superannuation of Dr Parvaiz Ahmad Shah, Principal, GMC Srinagar on 29-2-2020 and in the interest of administration and patient care, Dr Samia Rashid, Head, Department of Medicine, GMC Srinagar, shall look after the charge of the post of Principal, GMC Srinagar with effect from March 1, 2020, in addition to her own duties, till the post is filled on regular basis,” an order issued today by Health and Medical Education Department read.
