TechFest held at Vaishno College of Engineering

JAMMU, Mar 30: Technical cum cultural festival marked the celebrations of first TechFest at Vaishno College of Engineering.
Engineering students from various Colleges of Jammu, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab participated in various events and enthralled the audience.
The dance performances were captivating and mesmerizing while the songs presented by students provided a melodious touch to the event.
The TechFest also provided a platform to the students to showcase their skills in robotics, paper presentation, computer programming, project display, technical quiz, extempore, rangoli, poster making and many other activities.
The cultural and art events were judged by Ritu Gupta, Asha Pathania, Richa Gupta and Muskan Pathania while the technical events were judged by the concerned department heads.
Apart from the fun and frolic, there was a designated “Information Centre” where the students were made aware about the career prospects in science and technology.
The star of the event was the Punjabi Pop star Garry Sandhu. He rocked the show and entertained people with his charming and melodious songs.
On the occasion, Principal Lt Col AK Khajuria, Ranjeet Singh Pathania, President, Mata Vaishno Devi Educational Society, Varun Gupta and Rahul Pathania, Directors, Vaishno Group of Colleges, Shivam Pathania, Ankush Gupta, Ritu Gupta, Muskan Pathania and Richa Gupta were also present.
Later prizes were distributed among the winners and offer letters of VCOE were also presented to the students, who were placed during the campus placements.
