Vijay Club, Hero FC, Young Rovers register wins

JAMMU, Mar 10: Vijay Club, Hero Football Club and Young Rovers registered emphatic victories over their rivals in the ongoing Pt Prem Nath Dogra Memorial Football Tournament, being organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA), under the aegis of All India Football Federation (AIFF) at Mini Stadium, Parade, here.
In the first match, Vijay Club defeated NGR by a solitary goal (1-0). Dushyant was the goal scorer who netted it in 54th minute of the match.
In another match, Hero Football Club got the better of JK Bank Academy by four goals to 2 via tie-breaker. The match ended in (0-0) draw in the stipulated time and was decided via tie-breaker, wherein Hero FC emerged winner.
In yet another match, Young Rovers Football Club defeated Param FC by six goals to five (6-5) via tie-breaker. Earlier, in the stipulated time, both the teams scored one goal each (1-1). Lalit scored the goal for Param FC in 5th minute, while Rahul was the goal scorer for Young Rovers in 73rd minute of the match.
The matches were officiated by Dil Bahadur, Ricky Mehra, Rocky, Dheeraj Meenia and Vijay, while the Tournament is being held under the overall supervision of Rakesh Khanna, Organising Secretary.
