JAMMU, Mar 10: J&K Gymnastics Association will conduct selection trials for the gymnasts of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir on March 13, 2020 at 3 pm in new Gymnastics Hall, Indoor Sports Complex, MA Stadium, here.
According to a handout issued here the trials will be conducted to select J&K Rhythmic Gymnastics & Artistic Gymnastics teams for participation in the forthcoming 25th National Senior and Juniors Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships to be held at Bengaluru from March 24 to 26, 2020 and 56th Seniors National Artistic Gymnastics Champion-ships (Men & Women) at Hyderabad from March 27 to 31, 2020.
“The selection of Senior & Junior Gymnasts for forthcoming International Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships will be held during above mentioned Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships at Bengaluru,” a handout added.
In Rhythmic Gymnastics, the eligible players should be born in (2004-2005-2006 for Juniors) and (2003 or before for Seniors), while for Artistic Gymnastics, the players should be born in (2001 or before for Men’s Seniors) and (2003 or before for Women’s Seniors).
“The players desirous to take part in the trials in their age groups are requested to submit their entries along with their photo IDs and DoB certificates with Ravinder Singh, General Secretary JKGA or Gymnastics Coach SP Singh (9796216060) on or before March 11, 2020,” said Kiran Wattal, President J&K Gymnastics Association.
