Srinagar: A day after government released National Conference (NC) president and Member of Parliament, Srinagar, Dr Farooq Abdullah, after over seven months of detention, he met his son and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah who is detained in Hariniwas Srinagar since August last year.
Abdullah this morning at around 11 a.m. went inside the Hariniwas which has been designated as sub-Jail and where Omar Abdullah is detained for last over 7 months. The meeting was going on when reports last came in.
Sources said that the two leaders discussed the situation in Jammu and Kashmir post August 2019 when Centre scrapped the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
