JAMMU, Mar 17: The Jammu and Kashmir Govt Employees & Workers Federation (JKGEWF) has urged upon the J&K UT Administration to release 4% Dearness Allowance (DA) in favour of employees and pensioners.
In a meeting of the Federation held here today under the leadership of Aslam Khan, president, the employees expressed serious concern over the delay being caused in the release of DA of the employees and pensioners. They said that in view of rising prices of essentials, the working class is being crushed under its load. But it is unfortunate that despite the claims of the Prime Minister, the benefits are being denied to the J&K UT employees.
Senior trade unionists- Balbir Singh, Manohar Lal, Gurmeet Singh, Suresh Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Naresh Kumar and others were also present in the meeting.
