SAMBA, Mar 26: As a good will gesture and service to mankind, one Auto driver namely Vijay Kumar of Samba has started sewing masks of cloth at his home and distributing them free of cost among the needy people.
As there has been shortage of masks in the market after the outbreak of Corona Virus and some shopkeepers are selling the mask on double rates among the people, but auto driver Vijay Kumar taking the challenge has started sewing the mask of cloth in his home and distributing them free of cost among needy people of Samba and its adjoining areas so that the people can save themselves from the Coronavirus.
Vijay Kumar, taking the initiative to serve the people, has started sewing the masks with the help of his family so that poor people can also use masks as a safety measure against corona.
While talking to Excelsior correspondent, Vijay Kumar the auto driver said that lock down by the Government to avoid a deadly disease like corona is a very important step. He said that he was sitting at his home free after the lock down and hence he started making cloth masks so that the poor people can apply masks which he is distributing free of cost. He also appealed to the people those who do not have masks; that they can come to his house at Arazi Samba and take the masks free of cost.
