JAMMU, Apr 6: Bakshi Nagar police arrested two persons along with heroin and revolver.
As per police sources, three persons were arrested in a case registered under FIR Number 62/2020 with Police Station Bakshi Nagar on April 1 this year and during investigation, the arrested accused revealed that main supplier of drugs and kingpin of drug mafia namely Vishal Sharma alias Vishu, son of late Ram Prakash of Shakti Nagar, District Jammu presently hiding himself in Punjab is planning to enter into Jammu with the help of inter-state drug peddler namely Hira Singh, son of Pritam Singh of Ludhiana, Punjab in guise of a patient by using Innova car bearing registration number PB11AN-8447 as ambulance.
On their disclosure, a special team headed by SHO Bakshi Nagar Inspector Karan Chalotra was constituted to apprehend the kingpin of drug mafia.
With the strenuous efforts, police team apprehended the kingpin and his associate namely Hira Singh during checking along with 10 grams heroin, one revolver and one knife. Innova car (Ambulance) bearing registration number PB11AN-8447 was also seized.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
