MENDHAR, Apr 10: A PDD employee suffered severe electric shock while working at home while in a separate incident, an elderly man sustained burn injuries when his cattle shed caught fire, here today.
Reports said that one Mahmood Ahmed, son of Abdul Aziz Khan, resident of village Suiyan Dhargloon, tehsil Mendhar, suffered severe burn injuries on his left hand after he accidently came in contact with a high tension wire on his roof top.
In separate incident, 70- year old Munshi Khan, son of Said Mohammad, resident of Gohlad village, sustained severe burn injuries when his cattle shed caught fire, in which his three buffaloes were also injured.
Both the victims are undergoing treatment at Sub District Hospital, Mendhar where their condition was stated to be critical but stable. According to Block Medical Officer Mendhar, Dr Parvez Khan, the victims are likely to be referred to GMC Rajouri or GMC Jammu for advanced treatment.
