HS Bagdhar claims under-17 boys kabaddi title

REASI, May 16: Scripting a narrow win by 3 points in the final over High School Nomain, High School Bagdhar, one of the remotest institutions of Reasi zone claimed the under-17 years boys kabaddi title in the ongoing Zonal Level Inter-School Tournament of Reasi zone at High School Kambal Danga, here today.
The tournament is being organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the overall supervision of Dr Swaran Singh Chib, District Youth Services and Sports Oficer, Reasi.
Rohit Sharma, Block Development Officer, Reasi, was the chief guest on the occasion, Headmaster Romal Singh was the guest of honour.
In volleyball under-14 years boys, Ambika Kids School Panthal clinched the title, while under-17 boys title went to HS Kambal Danga, which defeated HSS Panthal by 2 sets to nil.
In kabaddi under-14 boys, Ambika Kids Home Panthal trounced HS Kambal Danga by (19-11) to lift the trophy, while in kabaddi under-14 years girls, Amba Kids Home defeated GGHSS Reasi by (26-23). The under-17 kabaddi girls title went to HSS Reasi, which outplayed HS Gran by (28-20).
Amba Kids School clinched under-14 years boys kho-kho title by trouncing HS Nomain by one point (4-3), while the under-14 years girls kho-kho title also went to Amba Kids Home by drubbing MS Dheerti by (12-6).
Meanwhile HSS Panthal claimed under-17 years boys kho-kho title by outplaying HS Nomain (12-5), while under-17 years girls kho-kho trophy was clinched by HS Gran, which defeated Laurance Public School Reasi by 5 points (15-10).
