Wushu Association of India holds online AGM

JAMMU, Apr 28: The Wushu Association of India organised online Annual General Meeting (AGM) regarding welfare of the wushists across the country, besides domestic activities and online Wushu championships.
The president of Association, Bhupinder Singh Bajwa directed all the State units to submit the report of the domestic activities for the year 2020.
As per the MYAS guidelines around 400 district championships shall be organised.
Moreover, he conveyed all the members that the national championships will be held during the months of October to December, 2020.
The president also co voted to organise online State Wushu Championships till May 20, 2020 and the online National championship for all groups will be held from May 25 to 29.
Maharashtra Wushu Association organised online State championship from today.
The Wushu Association of J&K will organise the online J&K UT Wushu Championship in the second week of May.
“It will be a daunting task for Wushu Association of J&K to organise the online classes under 2G services,” said Kuldeep Handoo, Chief Wushu Coach of India.
He said the Wushu Association of India and Sports Authority of India have already elaborately started online workshop on coaches development programme on zoom from April 27.
Handoo gave the introductory speech on the inauguration and briefed the coaches on the history of Wushu and the development of the game.
