1st Online Chess C’ship on May 8

JAMMU, May 4: All J&K Chess Association is going to organize 1st Online J&K UT Chess Championship on May 8, 2020 from 4 pm to 5.15 pm.
According to a handout issued here, the players desirous to take part in the Championship can send their WhatsApp numbers on WhatsApp number 8825076212 upto May 6, 2020 for registration.
The players must download Lichess App on their mobiles from play-store and register themselves there.
“All J&K Chess Association has decided to charge no entry fee from J&K players for this Championship. Selected top 6 players will be eligible to participate in 1st All India Open Online Blitz Chess Cup 2020 on May 15, 2020. Total prize money for All India Open Online Blitz Chess Cup will be Rs 3,00,000,” informed Atul Kumar Gupta, President AJKCA.
“Time control will be 3 minutes+2 second increment,” Atul added.
