JAMMU, May 16: Dr Yudhvir Gupta, Convener J&K Civil Society informed that GMC Jammu will soon get automated COVID-19 testing machine ‘COBAS 6800’ that can test 1200 samples in 24 hours to meet urgent medical needs and also helps to solve a significant obstacle to UT’s efforts to contain virus.
He was speaking today after distributing N-95 face masks in CD Hospital.
Dr Yudhvir thanked the Government for posting Dr Yash Pal Sharma a medical doctor, able administrator and experienced procurement specialist for posting him to head JK Supplies Corporation at a very critical time like this.
Dr Rajeshwar Sharma, Medical Superintendent praised the efforts of the office bearers Dr Gotam Goel, Advisor, Er Kiran Wattal, Spokesperson and Prem Sharma, Secretary of the J&K Civil Society for providing these masks for meeting critical needs of health professionals in the hospital.
Dr Sharma also thanked the visiting officials for appreciating efforts of all categories of service providers that would encourage them to perform better. He praised efforts of the society in the backdrop of the pandemic.
Er Kiran Wattal also spoke on the occasion and conveyed plaudits for staff of CD hospital for their brave and tireless work during difficult times under the overall leadership of the medical superintendent and assured for supporting the hospital whenever they needed any support.
