JAMMU: The MeT section of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday forecast spell of rain and thunderstorm in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Weatherman said that currently, weather is generally cloudy with light to moderate rain at scattered places of Kashmir and erstwhile Doda district of Jammu region.
He added that strong gusty wind is also being reported from some areas of Kashmir and Ladakh region.
The same is likely to continue today, he said adding, “We expect a brief spell of rain with a thunderstorm in parts of Jammu region as well.”
“Except for a brief thundershower, there is no forecast of any continuous heavy shower and in coming one week in J&K and Ladakh,” he added. (AGENCIES)
