KISHTWAR, May 20: A police post and several shops were damaged in fire here today.
As per police sources, fire break out at Padhyarna Police Post under mysterious circumstances.
On getting information, fire fighters along with tenders reached the spot and doused the flames with the help of police personnel and locals.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
Meanwhile, a spare parts, car and bike accessory shop was completely gutted whereas a carpenter shop, tent house and car washing station suffered minor damages in a fire incident in densely populated locality at Dak Bungalow Chowk here.
Efforts of locals and fire services controlled the flames and major tragedy was averted.
No loss of life has taken place, while police has stated investigation to ascertain the reason behind the fire.
