SAMBA, May 23: A girl consumed poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances at her residence, Swankha Morh area of Vijaypur in district Samba today.
According to the police, during the intervening night a girl consumed poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances at her residence in Swankha Morh area falling under the jurisdiction of Ramgarh Police Station in district Samba. Suddenly she started vomiting and when family members saw her in unconscious condition, they immediately took her to Government Accidental Hospital, Vijaypur for treatment, where doctors washed her stomach and referred her to Government Medical College (GMC) and Hospital Jammu for further treatment.
Police said she has been identified as Anu Radha, 26 daughter of Bodh Raj resident of Swankha Morh.
In this regard police has taken cognizance of the matter and started further investigation.
