JAMMU, May 26: Director General, Women & Child Development, Mir Tariq Ali today suspended Ramesh Chander, I/C Child Development Project Officer, Arnas holding additional charge of ICDS Project, Reasi under suspension.
Official sources said that officer had avoided to attend an important meeting amid Covid-19 held at Jammu recently. Therefore, the DG taking serious view of his conduct, placed him under suspension pending inquiry. He has been attached to the office of Deputy Director, ICDS Jammu.
Consequent upon this action, Child Development Project Officer, ICDS Project Udhampur, shall hold the charge of ICDS Project Arnas and Supervisor looking after the charge of CDPO, ICDS Project, Migrant Jammu shall lookafter the charge of ICDS Project Reasi. Joint Director, Mission Directorate, ICDS, J&K, DS Katoch has been appointed as inquiry officer, the sources added.
