JAMMU, May 27: K K Sharma, Advisor to Lt Governor G C Murmu shall temporarily discharge the duties and functions of the departments assigned to Advisor Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar, who is undergoing quarantine for the last two days.
On the instruction of Lt Governor, an order in this regard was issued today, according to which Advisor K K Sharma shall be discharging the duties and functions of Advisor Bhatnagar till the latter resumes the office after expiry of the mandatory period of quarantine prescribed by the Health Department.
Pertinent to mention that Advisor Bhatnagar holds the departments of Health and Medical Education, Public Works (R&B), PHE/I&FC, transport and Animal and Sheep Husbandry.
Advisor Bhatnagar was quarantined after his wife and son has tested positive for Coronavirus.
