JAMMU: The Central Bureau of Investigation on Friday filed chargesheet against an inspector of Jammu and Kashmir Police in alleged murder case of his wife with his service pistol.
The Central Bureau of Investigation on Friday filed a chargesheet before the CJM, Jammu against an Inspector of J&K Police namely Vivek Bassan u/s 498-A, 304-B of RPC and section 7 rw 27 (3) of the Arms Act 1959 in a case related to alleged murder of his wife Neha Kumari.
CBI had registered a case on 26.03.2019 on the orders dated 28.01.2019 of J&K High Court on a petition filed by father of the deceased and taken over the investigation of the case, earlier registered vide FIR 85 of 2018 at Police Station, Pacca Danga. (AGENCIES)
