JAMMU, June 1: The trainees of Poonch Taekwondo Academy (PTA) blossomed in the Online Taekwondo Poomsae Championship organized by Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association (JKTA) in collaboration with USI.
Over 100 top Taekwondo players from J&K Union Territory and SAI Academy players participated in this Championship.
Eight players from Poonch Taekwondo Academy also took part in this event and did exceptionally well.
The medal winners included Vishvas Sudan (silver), Toseef Tahir (silver),
Khalida Jabeen (silver), Ashaq Hussain (bronze), Akarshit Sudan (bronze), Vishnu Raina (bronze), Manpreet Kour (bronze) and Kanav Bali (bronze).
All these players were imparted training by Rajinder Singh, Physical Education Teacher from the Department of Youth Services and Sports.
Makhan Lal Bhaglal, President Poonch District Taekwondo Association, Prem Prakkash Luthra, Vice President PDTA, Priyanka Singh, Secretary PDTA and Amit Sharma PDTA Organising Secretary appreciated all the medal winners for excellent show.
