Jammu, June 2: A Faculty Development Program (FDP) was organised for the faculty members of Computer and Electrical Engineering Department of YCET, here today.
The initiative was taken by YCET, E&ICT Academy, IIT Guwahati in collaboration with the IOT Academy for faculty development.
The IOT Academy conducted series of webinars.
The FDP was conducted for six days on the topic “Emerging Trends in Embedded Systems, IOT and AI/ML”. LPWAN Design and applications in which, overview was given about Low Power Wide Area Network, which has become one of the prominent solutions for long range and low power internet of things and machine to machine applications.
A global mobile satellite company INMARSAT revealed that 24% problems were having connectivity issue as one of the biggest challenges in IOT deployment, 5G Applications and Autonomous cars.
The overview was given about the companies that are creating chips to turn autonomous vehicles into mobile data centres by allowing driverless cars to make real time complex decisions.
Implementation of Machine Learning in e-Commerce in which they discussed about the e-commerce business that has found much success by implementing dynamic pricing.
