Kabir Jayanti celebrated with religious fervour

JAMMU, June 5: All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha and All J&K Megh Sudhar Sabha today celebrated 622nd Kabir Jayanti with religious fervour by maintaining social distancing.
“Sant Kabir was the 1st Indian saint who coordinated between different religions and gave a universal path which could be followed by all of us,” said FC Bhagat in a function, organised at Akhnoor, adding that Saint Kabir fought his entire life against the social discrimination and advocated that all human on earth were equal.
During the function, the Kabir Sabha declared that this year the main function of Kabir Jayanti shall be celebrated on June, 6 (Saturday) at Kabir Bhawan, Chak Avtara in Bishnah by following social distancing and COVID-19 guidelines of the District Administration.
Whereas, All J&K Megh Sudhar Sabha organised the Kabir Jayanti function at Old Rehari Colony and distributed langer among the devotees.
Those who were present in the function including Sham Lal, Amar Nath, Sansar Chand, Romesh Bhagat, Rajinder Bhagat an Jeet Lal.
