JAMMU, Apr 10: Five Jammu student of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will get the University Gold Medal during 26th Convocation on April 12.
They include Jaswant Kour, Monica Sharma , Priyanka Magotra, Ajay Gandotra and Dhramvir Singh.
Regional Centre Jammu is organizing the convocation through teleconferencing at GCW Gandhi Nagar auditorium. A total of 1135 students shall receive their Degree/Diploma/ Certificate during the convocation at Jammu wherein the Minister for Housing, Culture and Horticulture Raman Bhalla will be the guest of honour.
Two IGNOU candidates from Jammu, namely Devinder Singh from Jarai Kathua and Vishal Raina from Trikuta Nagar Jammu, shall be awarded Ph D Degrees in Agriculture during the main convocation function at New Delhi, wherein President of India Pranab Mukherjee will be the chief guest.
