Two arrested for illegal sale, purchase of kerosene oil

JAMMU, June 8: Domana police arrested two persons for illegal sale and purchase of kerosene oil.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Domana Police Station laid a naka and intercepted a Swift car bearing registration number JK02BS-7190.
During checking, police team recovered 300 litres of kerosene oil from the vehicle and arrested the driver, who was identified as Pankaj Gupta, son of Harbans Lal Gupta of Nai Basti Gandhi Nagar District Jammu.
During investigation, another associate of the arrested person identified as Rankaj Gupta alias Sonu was arrested and 80 litres of kerosene oil was recovered.
A case under FIR Number 137/2020 under section 3/7 EC Act has been registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Chanchal Singh, SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul, SP Rural Jammu Suram Singh and SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
