JAMMU, Apr 12: Adding another feather in its cap, Liberty-India’s leading footwear brand honoured outstanding sportspersons of Jammu by providing them the footwears of their choice in an impressive, colourful and well attended function at its showroom in Janipur, here today.
The function apart from sportspersons and organizers was attended by a large number of people drawn from all walks of life.
The sportspersons who were honoured included ace skater Arjun Gandotra, gritty gymnastic Mitali, gutsy fencer Rashid Ahmed and National Wushu coach Kuldeep Handoo. All these four sportspersons have brought laurels to the State of Jammu and Kashmir and the country as well in their respective sports disciplines.
Speaking on the occasion, Executive Director Liberty, Anupam Bansal said that the aim of opening stores in Jammu and adjoining areas was to encourage sportspersons by providing them a comfort collection designed to take the load of the feet, adding that the overwhelming response by Jammuites has smacked an ecstatic feeling in their minds and they would like to open more and more Liberty stores in the State as J&K has been their focus area from the word go.
The visiting sportspersons observed that the showroom possesses Liberty’s latest Spring Summer Collection 2013, which included a wider array of footwear range such as Coolers, Exos and Sanorita, having a vibrant combination of style and comfort.
