JAMMU, June 22: Making aware about alternative pattern of term end examination (Multiple Choice Questions) announced by University of Jammu due to COVID-19 pandemic, various online quiz competitions were organised by different colleges for 6th semester students.
Department of History, Govt Degree College Akhnoor organized inter-college online quiz competition on “Modern History 1860-1945” for 6th semester students under the supervision of the College Principal, Dr Namarta.
Students from different colleges across the Jammu division participated in which Nikita Bhau, Rajat Choudhary and Priyanka Sharma of GDC Akhnoor shared 1st position, second position was secured by Love Jalotra of GDC Akhnoor, whereas 3rd position was shared by Kajal Sharma and Ankit Khajuria of GDC Akhnoor. The event was organized by Prof Mahesh Chander.
Department of Mathematics, Govt Degree College Surankote conducted online inter-collegiate quiz competition cum mock test in which various students from the five colleges of Jammu and Kashmir UT participated.
Mukhtar Ahmed of GDC Surankote bagged 1st position, Manu Devi of MAM College Jammu got 2nd position whereas Parvaiz Ahmed Dar of GDC Magam clinched 3rd position.
The competition was coordinated by Riaz Ahmed, HOD Mathematics under the overall supervision of College Principal, Dr Jasbir Singh.
A quiz competition on health was organised by Govt Degree College Pouni, Reasi under the supervision of the College Principal, Prof Rajni Bhagat.
About 30 students of different colleges participated. The event was coordinated by Prof Bindu Sharma, Prof Sonali Pawal and Prof Meenakshi Bhagat.
