JAMMU, June 26: Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan (DSS) today said that the present regime is trying to divert the public attention from the real issues and browbeating the Dogra Voice.
“Is it not a political conspiracy to gag the voice of a popular Dogra leader, a three times MLA, two times MP and a popular voice of Jammu who has been honored with National Awards for his outstanding performance both in Health and Medical Education and also in Forest Department,” the party said in a statement while referring to Preliminary Enquiry filed by CBI against RB Educational Trust owned by former Minister and DSS chairman, Choudhary Lal Singh.
The party questioned whether the CBI or the people in the power corridors are ignorant of the misdeeds of the Kashmiri leaders who has amassed wealth beyond any proportion and has huge land encroached in Bathindi area of Jammu. Is CBI not aware about the huge chunk of land of JDA and other state land encroached under the garb of Roshni act etc, the party questioned?
“DSS and its leader are open to any investigation but that should not be politically motivated and biased. Truth ultimately survive and we are confident that our leader shall come out clean and impeccable and those trying to exploit for their political considerations, shall be put to task by the people of Jammu who are keeping close watch on every development which is detrimental for the growth and development of Jammu province,” the party said.
The party sought intervention of Prime Minister and Home Minister to intervene personally in the matter and see that how a premier organization is being misused by a politician under his nose to settle his personal scores with an intention to wipe out any potential opposition in his constituency.
