JAMMU, Apr 13: Department of Information Technology, MIET, organised a guest lecture on “Remote Sensing GIS and GPS”.
The lecture was delivered by Prof AS Jasrotia, head, Remote Sensing and GIS Department, University of Jammu.
Prof Jasrotia apprised the students about the latest technologies in remote sensing and also explained about the current scenario of remote sensing and its future scope.
Various application of remote sensing were also discussed during the interactive session.
Earlier, Abha Gupta, HoD, IT Department presented the welcome address, whereas, in the end, Manu Gupta, Assistant Prof, IT Department, presented vote of thanks.
