2 Pak troops killed across Poonch

JAMMU, July 2: Two personnel of Pakistan army were killed while several bunkers destroyed in retaliatory action by the Indian Army to the ceasefire violation by the Pakistan on the Line of Control in Poonch district today.
No major loss or injury was reported on Indian side, the officials said.
In strong retaliation to ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Qasba, Kerni and Shahpur sectors, Indian Army undertook firing against Pakistan Army posts in the Rakh Chikri area, they said.
“Retaliatory action resulted in death of two Pakistan Army soldiers of 10 BALUCH while effective Indian firing led to destruction of few bunkers and casualties,” the officials said.
Earlier in the morning, Pakistan troops violated the ceasefire by firing unprovoked along the Line of Control in Poonch district. At about 0930 hrs, Pakistan initiated firing with small arms along LoC in Shahpur and Kirni sectors in Poonch.
