JAMMU, July 5: The SR College of Competitions (SRCC) today organised online Urdu workshop for civil services aspirants.
The expert subject faculty engaged by the College have covered different aspects related to syllabus and unfolded the means and ways to prepare for the optional Urdu subject in minimum possible time. They emphasised on ‘Lisaaniyaat’ while an in-depth presentation was also made about the origin and evolution of Urdu language.
Centre Head of SRCC, Praful Sharma said that different categories of prose and poetry were discussed and applied aspects were covered as well with the sole aim to crack the examination. “Dastaan, Novels, Drama, Ghazal, Nazam, Masnavi and literary criticism were made by the experienced faculty to the better understanding of the target students,” he said.
“During the COVID 19 pandemic, the online interactions with the students preparing for the civil services examinations will help them to continue their preparations at home,” he added.
