JAMMU, July 5: MP Rajya Sabha and former State president BJP, Shamsher Singh today said that his party is committed to provide all basic infrastructure to the people at their doorsteps and every activist of BJP is working on ground to know about the grievances of people solving them.
The MP was addressing a meeting of Public Welfare Association, Buta Nagar, Ward 38, Janipur today along with former Minister and ex MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma who were the special invitees in the meeting.
Manhas also complimented former MLA Jammu West for solving major issues of people in Jammu West concerning power, water and roads. He threw light on the upcoming projects to be taken up for the welfare of masses.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma complimented the MP Rajya Sabha for taking up many important works in various areas of Jammu West. He said that support of every inhabitant and Karyakarta of BJP has made Jammu West as one of the best constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir where all works were done on priority and next level infrastructure has been provided to the people in all 26 wards of the constituency.
The locals also complimented MP Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas and former Minister, Sat Sharma (CA) for solving the problems of the inhabitants in the Ward. The meeting was organized by Mandal president, BJP Raveesh Mengi and booth president, Sanjeev Gupta. Corporator, Ward 38 , Surinder Sharma, president, Buta Nagar Welfare Association, Ratan Lal Zutshi was also present.
The locals said that it was due to the efforts of the MP that many works were taken up in hand in the area by PDD and it was because of personel interest taken by the former Minister that broken roads, lanes were reconstructed in the area and the drinking water problem was solved in the Ward.
Surinder and Raveesh on behalf of residents of Ward 38 complimented both MP Rajya Sabha and former Minister for continuously touring the areas of Janipur and their Ward as well which led to solving their major grievances from time to time.
Mandal general secretaries Sangeeta Verma and Sanjay Bhat, Kannav Gupta, Sanjay Bakshi and others were present.
