DODA, July 5: The residents of Tehsil Bunjwah have demanded immediate repair and blacktopping of Dunadi to Patnzai road stretch which is in dilapidated condition since long.
Hundreds of people living in the different villages falling on Dunadi to Patnzai road commute on this road on daily basis and its deplorable condition since long has irked them, the residents said.
Due to callous attitude of the district administration, this road has turned into a death trap. In the past, many precious lives were lost in accidents on this road, the residents stated.
The road needs immediate repair and blacktopping as this is the only surface link for hundreds of people to visit for their works at Tehsil Headquarter Bunjwah.
The residents have appealed to the Lieutenant Governor to direct the district administration to repair and blacktop this 35 kilometers Dunadi to Patnzai road as soon as possible.
While talking to the EXCELSIOR, the Xen PMGSY Kishtwar Bashir Ahmed Khanday said that the repair work of the road has been initiated and it will be completed by the end of this year.
