Yashpaul Nirmal awarded Kalam Sadhak Samman

JAMMU, July 6: Dogri and Hindi Littérateur, cultural and language activist, linguist, journalist and social worker Yash Paul Nirmal has been awarded with the Kalam Sadhak Samman by Brij Lok Kala Sahitya and Sanskriti Sansthan Agra for his literary contributions in Dogri and Hindi language.
Yashpaul Nirmal of village Ghari Bishna in Akhnoor, had joined Jammu Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages in 2009 as a Research Assistant in Dogri. In 2017 he was promoted as Assistant Editor in Dogri Language. He started writing in 1994 and translated Shrimadbhagwad Puran in Dogri in the year 1996.
His popular books in Dogri language are Anmol Jindagi, Bus Toon Gai Toon Aein, Lok Dhara, Dogri Vyakaran , Dogri Phonetic Reader , Ao Dogri Sikhchey, Mian Deedo , Dogri Vyakaran Te Samvad Koushal , Dogri Bhasha Te Vyakaran, Bharti Itehas Da Adhyayan Ik Parichay , Sudeesh Pachori Ne Akhya Ha, Wahge Ahli Lakeer, Shodh Te Parchol, Devi Pooja Vidhi Vidhan, Chhuttian etc. His Hindi books are Ghari , Asli Varis , Pindi Darshan , Sahitya Manthan etc.
