Year long celebration of 400th Jayanti of Roop Bhawani

JAMMU, July 7: In connection with the 400th Global celebrations of Mata Roop Bhavani birth anniversary (Sharikaansh) a global painting competition was organized by Shri Alakh Sahiba Trust (SAST) Dedmar, Nawakadal, Srinagar, now at Tirath Nagar, here.
The celebrations started with invocation of Mata Roop Bhavani with the Guru Mantra Aavirbhuta Janak Tapasa. Mata Roop Bhavani is the lone mystic patron saint of Kashmir, who was Initiated into the spiritual realm by her father and Guru, MadhavJoo Dhar. During the celebrations, Matashree’s mystic sayings in the form of poetry called ‘Rahasyopdesha’ were recited by president SAST, CM Dhar and other devotees. This was followed by recitation of Ved Mantras and Aarti of Matashree. The Bhaktas were served holy prasad, after the prayers and Aarti.
Earlier the Trust along with Ykunth Mandli Ashram, Faridabad organised a Global Painting Festival for children aged 6-11 and 11-14. Kumari Srishti Bindroo, Himachal Pradesh, Master Swapnil Bhat and Kumari Niyati Gigoo were winners in 11-14 age group while Kum Kavya Dhar Jammu, Master Shivas Raina Dwarka, New Delhi and Kum Ipsita Raina, USA were winners in the Sub junior category.
President SAST, C M Dhar, appealed to all KP families in India and abroad to Invoke Matashree by her auspicious Mantra Aavirbhuta Janaktapasa every Purnima for Apaar Achhar i.e Infinite knowledge and wellbeing of children and the community and country as a whole.
The celebrations concluded with a prayer to Mata Roop Bhavani to end the COVID-19 Pandemic and provide succor to the entire humanity. All the precautions of the Pandemic were observed during the event.
