JAMMU, Nov 15: In order to expose Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) for its anti people policies as well as for failure to fulfill promises made with people in Jammu and Kashmir, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today took out a car and bike rally in Jammu City which passed through different parts while hundreds of party volunteers and leaders were part of it.
The bike and car rally was led by former cabinet minister Harsh Dev Singh along with other senior party leaders. Different parts of city from where this rally passed included Kachi Chawni, Parade and Panjtirthi. Party cadre raised slogans against failure of BJP as well as Jammu and Kashmir LG administration making people aware about ill-policies of Government that have put every citizen of J&K into trouble.
Addressing the rally, State Coordination Committee Incharge of AAP Harsh Dev Singh said that AAP is on roads to expose the failure of BJP which has put J&K in problems of all aspects. He said the sad state of affairs in J&K can be gauged from the fact that employees and common citizen are on roads due to ill policies of BJP and everyone is feeling cornered under present rule.
“Daily wagers of different Government departments, regular side employees, vocational trainers and teachers, Anganwadi workers and helpers and even pensioners are on roads for their genuine demands and Government has failed to do anytime to resolve their issues.” Singh said. He said BJP was in Government for years in J&K and it did nothing for daily wagers and now it is framing committees which are nothing else than an attempt of eye wash.
Singh further said that only AAP is having potential to fulfill promises made with the people and this has been proven in Punjab and Delhi where development is taking place on ground and in real sense instead of paper development of BJP.
