JKP organizes Cycle Race

SRINAGAR, June 15: Abid Ramzan of Government Higher Secondary School Pattan clinched first place in the Cycle Race Competition, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP), under Civic Action Programme at Sub Divisional Level in Pattan, near here today.
Mehraj-ud-din of the same school bagged second place in the competition, while Shahid Rasool of Government Higher Secondary School Palhallan claimed the third place.
Earlier, the race started at wee hours from Railway Bridge Zangam in Pattan and culminated at Mirgund, about 12 kilometers from Pattan. 50 cyclists drawn from various schools of Pattan and adjoining areas participated in the race. The participating schools included HSS Patttan, HSS Palhallan, HSS Kreeri, Little Buds Public School Pattan, New Era Islamic School Pattan and Al-Noor Educational Trust, Palhallan.
