JAMMU, May 22: Nagrota police arrested an absconder, who was evading his arrest since long, a police official said.
The accused has been identified as Vicky Kumar, son of Jagdish Raj of Ward Number 4, Poonch.
He was involved in a case under FIR Number 100/2006 under Section 379 RPC registered with Police Station Nagrota. The court has also issued arrest warrant under Section 512 CrPC against him.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Nagrota Inspector Bhushan Manhas made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Dr Amit Sharma and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
