JAMMU, Mar 22: Miran Sahib police arrested an absconder, who was at large since long.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Police Station Miran Sahib conducted raid and apprehended an absconder, who was evading his arrest since April 2018.
The accused has been identified as Puran Massi, son of Beli Ram of Bahadur Khan Tehsil RS Pura, District Jammu.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 91/15 under sections 451, 336, 354, 147, 148, 323, 201, 504, 506 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act with Police Station Miran Sahib. Arrest warrant under section 512 CrPC also stands issued against him by Additional Special Mobile Magistrate R Pura.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib SI Gurupal Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Sourab Prasher.
